This is an intiative to help the youths to market their Art Craft and Item via the Internet
Uganda is a modern African nation that is home to many venerable traditions and arts. While our country has many attractions that can only be experienced firsthand, we are pleased to offer our unique local wares directly to consumers in other countries, via the World Wide Web. This is was an initiative, which was set up in 2001 to market Art and Craft items. All these items are made by the youths from the parts of Uganda. Our store is a real place, located near the capitol city Kampala. The main aim of this site is to market the local art and craft items for the youths for their works to be exposed world wide to avoid the digital divide. This project was started by a group of IT specialists who have worked on the different projects of ICT,it was through their initiatives, they had to make a plan to market Art and Craft items via the Internet and hence the project was born.

ORDERS BY MAIL:
Print out a copy of our Order Form.
1.Write or type your name and address in clear block letters in the shipping address section.
2.Fill in the appropriate fields in the order tables.
3. Use the appropriate fields to provide size and/or color instructions. Please give actual measurements in inches or centimeters. In our experience, using the many inconsistant systems of 'sizes' (e.g. Misses Petite Size 6) results in confusion and disappointment. The only exceptions to this are where Adult S/M/L/XL sizes are indicated, and even here your actual body measurements can be helpful to us.
4.Packing costs have already been included in the prices for individual items and sets. However, if you would like to purchase several different small items as a single shipment, please inquire with details at info@mulib.mak.ac.ug
5.Consult the SHIPPING TABLE BELOW to determine the cost for express shipping to your region. Shipping weights in kilograms will be found listed next to the prices.

6.For postal orders, we recommend using International Postal Money Orders. For customers, use the MP-1 or Pink international money order available at most Post Offices in the right card above this page with the word AVOID,this is an example
INTERNATIONAL POSTAL MONEY ORDER TIPS
The actual form to be used is an MP-1, called a pink International Money Order. It's the same form used to send money to other countries. The dollar limit is , but for "All Others" it is . The fee for issuance is .00.
1. We can usually process payments using bank checks/cheques payable in US Dollars. Due to these take to clear our local bank, however, paying by cheque will delay shipment by about one month.
2. We do not recommend sending payment in US currency, since this often 'disappears' before reaching us.
